Hope everyone had a terrific Easter or Passover, or perhaps even just a great weekend!

As for this photographic life, my weekend was filled with Easter eggs and family, oh, and a headshot shoot on Friday. Anytime I can get behind my camera the better!

Easter Sunday was spent at my cousin Jenifer's house, as it has been for the past few years. What makes it so fun (aside from the food and family) is watching the kids go on their annual Easter egg hunt. The adults (I guess that would include me) take on the responsibility of hiding over 200 eggs for 7 kids! Yup, that's about 29 eggs per kid if divided up equally. After a while, it gets kinda tough trying to hide all the different colored eggs. Plus, we have to hide them in easy and hard places to accommodate the different age groups. In the end, it's all fun and games, and the kids have a great time trying to find the well hidden eggs (well, maybe not well hidden, but fun nonetheless!).

Lastly, this was my new nephew Luke's first Easter with the fam. He just arrived in March, so he wasn't able to mix it up fully with the kids this year, but I'm sure he'll be out there soon enough vying for his own Easter eggs!

Remember what I said about trying to find creative places to hide the eggs?

And they're off! Little kids first - in this case Gabby and Sam.
The eggs in the foreground were "hidden" by Gabby BTW. LOL!

Easy pickings!

I think these two found half of all the 200 eggs by themselves!

Now the bigger kids get their chance!

_MCP4017.jpg
We even had to hide the eggs in the kiddie cars!

Post hunt, the kids start to count their eggs.

Love this photo of Gabby and her dad counting eggs. Notice how she just tosses them to the side after each one is counted.

The egg aftermath. Counting and opening of the eggs to see what's inside.

In the end, it was all about fun! Just ask Gabby.

Not sure what this expression is saying, but it's cute nonetheless :)

This is my cousin's dog, Mr. Deeds.

Here he is, the latest addition to the clan, Luke, being held by my aunt.
It's almost as though he's saying something.

Lastly, here's Gabby again. I really like this picture.

Another busy week for me, with a performance shoot this weekend, and then the annual East West Players Gala next week Monday. Looking forward to shooting them both.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Hope you had a fantastic weekend, and here's to a great week!
