About a month ago, I was put in touch with Michelle Flowers by a mutual friend. Michelle had seen one of my photos on my Facebook page and was interested in scheduling a lifestyle photography session with me, one that highlights the many facets of her day to day life – writing, teaching, spirituality, education, the arts, etc. A perfect definition of a Renaissance woman!
So, we put our heads together and came up with a shoot for her to use the photos in the many blogs that she contributes to, almost like a visual tag for each article she happens to write that day. We incorporated the Renaissance theme complete with a renaissance costume, with a bit of a modern twist.
We also wanted to incorporate an old typewriter in our “writers” theme. Yes, typewriter. That thing we used to use before computers.
A huge thanks to Michelle, and her lovely friends Tamika and Penelope for helping out on this session. Great times indeed.
