Okay, I admit, I’ve gone M.I.A. the past two weeks My apologies. Once again, the AT&T internet failure bug hit our home which had me without internet over the July 4th holiday, and a small heat wave had me melting all over my office space – yuck! Thank goodness everything is back to “normal” and I am once again here to bring you some of my latest fun work!
This week’s post is about the engagement session (E-session) of one of my bestest friends and her equally awesome fiance, Blythe and John. I’ve known Blythe now for about 8 years, ever since we performed together in a little ditty over at East West Players years ago (“Imelda – A New Musical), and ever since we’ve been really great friends. I’ve photographed Blythe before on numerous occasions, and even bragged about how dancers make the best models (they certainly do!). You can even find some of our work in the pages of this blog.
When Blythe found Mr. Uber-Awesome Right, I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her big day, happening later this year in an undisclosed secret tropical location ;p In preparation for that day, we scheduled what started off as an overcast day to photograph them, which later turned into some great light, and some fun times; then again, I always make sure my photo sessions are fun, and we definitely had a lot of that that day
So here are a few of the images we created. You can clearly see how in love these two are, and what a beautiful couple they are! Seriously! Model quality through and through. I am definitely spoiled when it comes to everyone I photograph, EVERYONE.
Enjoy the photos
I love Blythe’s expressions here over John’s beach find.
OF COURSE we’re going to do the “Titanic” bow scene, come on!
Cool finds on the beach. A rusted old tool box.
I specially ordered the plane in this photo. Cost an arm and a leg, but well worth it.
