Aloha everyone! We’re finally back from the islands of Aloha, and quite frankly, I’m missing it very much There’s something about Hawaii, whether it be the people, the environment, the weather, the water, food, etc. I could never get enough of it. It’s such a 360 degree change from life in L.A. that it’s difficult to get back into the groove of L.A. living.
The purpose of my trip there was to photograph my friend Blythe’s wedding on the island of Kauai, my first time there. Needless to say it was such a beautiful wedding, filled with so much emotion and happiness. It was a small wedding of about 60 of their closest family and friends which made for such a memorable day. Congrats to Blythe and John on their wedding, and thanks so much for having me photograph it Love, love, LOVE my work!
The rest of the time was spent on the island of Oahu, doing the touristy stuff, and eating to our heart’s content Couple that with swimming everyday in the waters of Waikiki, and exploring the island on foot, ATV and car, makes for a fantastic vacation. Did I mention the food? Oh yeah, I did! We don’t eat the way we ate there (3 square/solid meals a day!), and although it was amazingly terrific, we’re definitely paying for our gluttony as we speak via the pounds we packed on. It was worth it though.
So here is a slice of some of our most memorable moments in the islands. Aloha and mahalo Hawaii. Till we meet again
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the photos. I hope that all of you get to go to Hawaii sometime soon You’ll love it there – trust me!
Until next time, Mahalo!
